About this fundraiser:

The Walkathon is Bennett’s biggest fundraiser, providing the funds that make our school an excellent place for children and educators. Each year the Bennett PTSA funds over $400 per student to cover where government funding falls short.

The walkathon provides funding for:
• General school assistants not funded by the school district
• Field trips, special guests, and workshops
• Learning tools and classroom supplies for teachers
• Additional drop-off, pick-up and playground supervision

Students raise money for Bennett by collecting donations from family, friends, and neighbors for getting active and walking/jogging laps around the playground. Students and classes compete to see who can raise the most money and walk the most laps.

This is Bennett PTSA’s main fundraising event and is run completely by parent volunteers! The kids have a blast and 100% of the funds raised are used to enhance our school and make it an even better learning environment for our children.
